Two wood merchants founded a company : ROLLIN & DUPRET, which was specialized in manufacturing of wooden poles. The first works was established in Andrezieux-Bouthéon (42)

ROLLIN & DUPRET extended its activity to the company I.R.C.B which was located at Arc-Les-Gray (70)

A new firm was created in Meymac (19) : CORREZE BOIS.

The holding company ROCHETTE BOIS INDUSTRIE, purchased these three firms and renamed then : FRANCE BOIS IMPREGNES.

A new range of products was marketing : « DECOVERT » : panelling, wooden floor, round timber, flooring ... various outdoor items.

1926

At the same time, no far away from this plant, at Boisset-Les-Montrond (42), two manufacturers of wooden poles for overhead lines joined together and created SOCIETE FOREZIENNE D’IMPREGNATION DES BOIS, which was very well-known under the name of SFIB.

1986

A new type of production started : round timber, vineyards stakes….

1996

ROCHETTE BOIS INDUSTRIE bought SFIB.
